I moved from Hopewell junction, NY to Nashville, TN at 18 years old to go to Audio tech school with an all in one DAW, an old stereo, and some gateway computer speakers. Somehow the universe brought into my life amazing performances and gear to record them on I would have never dreamed of.

I started out doing live sound all around Nashville at every little bar or hotel, while working at Guitar Center as a Pro Audio sales person. I now work at a company called Tour Supply and am the sound engineer for the Nashville Jazz Workshop.

My first teacher was Chris Pence. I interned for him at the Tin Roof and learned how to record and mix live shows while I was in school. Tom Knox, the main engineer who got the Nashville Jazz Workshop running, taught me everything I needed to know about capturing great live sound mixes to 2 tracks.

Live recoding is my favorite hobby. If you have incredible players, and some microphones - you've got it.
